When you donate to the Centre County Farmland Trust, you are helping to provide our community with cleaner air, cleaner water, a vibrant local farm economy and delicious local food.

Thanks to our donors and supporters, the Centre County Farmland Trust preserves 1,558 acres over 18 properties.

We’re working with three landowners to protect 440 more acres! That costs $10,000 to $20,000 per easement — or about $200 an acre.

But that is only the initial cost. As part of our stewardship work and responsibility to uphold the easement, our volunteer and professional monitors visit all of our preserved properties once a year. We are not government-affiliated or tax-supported.
