Every piece of land holds a unique story of connection with the people and families who have cared for it over many decades.
Here, learn about each of the 17 properties preserved through conservation easements held by the Centre County Farmland Trust.
The Centre County Farmland Trust partners with the landowners who donated a conservation easement to protect their land from development and with the current landowners who have purchased preserved land.
CCFT holds easements protecting 1,483 acres over 17 properties. Sixteen are in Centre County. One is in Blair County.
These conservation easements protect the land’s future as farmland, wildlife habitat, contribution to watershed and groundwater protection and other valuable natural resources.
